In line with Saudi Vision 2030, Al-Halb expanded its environmental services to include medical-waste treatment. We use current methods that put safety and public health first.
Because this waste is hazardous, we follow a full management cycle: segregation and storage at the healthcare facility, collection in specialised vehicles, cold storage at treatment plants, sterilisation, emission monitoring, and transfer of residual ash to licensed landfills, in accordance with local and international standards.
